Following a training in engineering. Trevor decided to study for a qualification in photography.
He completed a Btec diploma course at Mid Cheshire College.
In 1985 he was presented with the BIPP National Student of the Year award.
Later that year he was successful in his diploma studies gaining distinction in all nine study areas.

Trevor went on to teach up to City & Guild & Btec diploma level at Mid Cheshire College and North East Wales Institute.

Following commissions which have taken him as far as Australia & New Zealand he now runs his general photography business in South Cheshire. He still loves to teach and pass on his skills & experience to others. Apart from private tuition he offers short break courses which have proved extremely popular.

Although the silver image still gives him great satisfaction, the digital age has allowed him to cover more ground when teaching short courses.
